Don’t worry, it won’t go to our heads. We’re still sitting in a darkened room, rocking nervously in anticipation of a critical mauling from When Saturday Comes. That’s us – eternal pessimists – be grateful you don’t have to live with us!

Now, we are football punks, in every sense. The lovely people at Football Punk magazine liked our book almost as much as they like wearing tartan bondage trousers and stapling each others eyelids together.

We’ve gone global. Modern Football is Rubbish has been picked-up by Polish publisher, Sendsport and is going to be published soon. We are the first to admit – aside from memories of Boniek and Lato at Espana 82 – we don’t know much about Polish football, but we’re delighted that our book is being published in Poland. Maybe, we’ll get first dibs on tickets for Euro 2012?!
